Frenchies!

The first Frenchie I showed was Ch. Jimmy-Lee's Lil Bit of Cass. He is shown here winning Best of Breed at the Beverly Hills K.C. Show.

I enjoyed showing Lil' Bit so much that I wanted another Frenchie to show. I met Leota and Kenneth Banister from Claude, TX (near Amarillo). I acquired a puppy from them (the future Ch. Kenle's El Taureau D'or), but could not wait for him to grow up. In the meantime, I was at a show where Kenneth had finished "Charlie" on Saturday and moved him up to best of breed for Sunday. Kenneth then went Winner's Bitch on Sunday with Jill so he asked me to take Charlie in for Breed so he could show the bitch. I went Best of Breed with Ch. Kenle's Charles de Charmour over several specials, and then recieved a Group 2. They decided I could borrow Charlie and show him until Taureau was old enough to show after that. We placed in the group a number of times.

The puppy that I could not wait to grow up was Taureau. Ch. Kenle's El Taureau D'or finished his championship in four weekends with three majors from the six to nine puppy class. He was just over seven months old.
